TUBING

Tubing

high purity

Waterra maintains a considerable stock of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) tubing and Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) tubing in a broad range of diameters and lengths. Our tubing is of the highest quality available and we are always working to keep our prices more than competitive.Call Waterra for a current price list.

Our tubing is always virgin material and is carefully packaged to ensure that it is always clean when you receive it.

high density polyethylene (HDPE)

All Waterra tubing is produced from virgin polyethylene resins. We do not use any regrind product in any of our tubing. Our tubing also does not contain any UV stabilizers*. Our coils of tubing are individually poly bagged and are stored in sealed boxes, protected from UV light sources. Waterra Foot Valves are guaranteed to properly fit onto and into Waterra tubing.

High Density Tubing is the best tubing choice for use in deep monitoring wells. HDPE tubing is stiffer and will stretch much less than LDPE material. The stiffness of this material produces better flow rates and greater lifts.

*Leaving non UV protected polyethylene tubing exposed to sunlight or a UV light source will result in the material becoming brittle. The material will then fracture very easily. Keep you tubing protected from these light sources until your ready to install it in your well and it will last for may years.

low density polyethylene (LDPE)

All Waterra tubing is produced from virgin polyethylene resins. We do not use any regrind product in any of our tubing. Our tubing also does not contain any UV stabilizers*. Our coils of tubing are individually poly bagged and are stored in sealed boxes, protected from UV light sources. Waterra Foot Valves are guaranteed to properly fit onto and into Waterra tubing.

Low Density Tubing is the most popular tubing choice for use in shallow monitoring wells. LDPE tubing is more flexible than HDPE and is less likely to develop a kink. The difference in rigidity between LDPE and HDPE does not have a significant impact on the performance of the inertial pump in shallow wells. LDPE tubing is also recommended for use with the Proactive line of 12 volt submersible pumps.

*Leaving non UV protected polyethylene tubing exposed to sunlight or a UV light source will result in the material becoming brittle. The material will then fracture very easily. Keep you tubing protected from these light sources until your ready to install it in your well and it will last for may years.

TPE

Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) is a soft and flexible polymer with excellent physical properties, making it a good alternative for silicone tubing in peristaltic pumps. Waterra stocks tubing sizes L/S 15 and L/S 24 for use in the Spectra Field Pro Peristaltic Pump

TPE tubing is stocked in 25 foot coils.

FEP

FEP is one of three different types of of Teflon manufactured by Dupont and is the best choice of material for use in tubing. It is a chemically-inert, temperature resistant tubing product with good transparency and weatherability.

Minimum order — 50' coil on most sizes.

HDPE

standard flow tubing

High Density Tubing provides the best performance in deeper monitoring wells because of it's rigidity. This tubing will also stretch less in deeper monitoring wells making it more efficient.

High Density Polyethylene also provides a stronger valve-tubing connection, especially with the male threaded valves, because it is stiffer and gives less when the valve is threaded into the tubing.
