portable mechanical advantage

The Waterra Lever Pump was designed to provide operators with a convenient, portable mechanism which would provide some mechanical advantage when manually operating the Inertial Pump as well as facilitating the collection of samples with this system.

This actuator will fasten onto most above ground well completions quickly and easily. The tubing clamp is designed to accept both Standard Flow and High Flow tubing and the handle is adjustable in order to accommodate various casing diameters and desired stroke lengths. The Lever Pump weighs approximately 7 pounds.

This actuator is the best choice for the occasional light duty user of the Inertial Pumping System.

features

The Waterra Lever Pump is a manual lever suitable for use with the Standard Flow, High Flow and Low Flow Waterra Inertial Pumping Systems.

The Lever pump is fully adjustable and will adapt to almost any size casing or protective well casing. An above ground well completion is required in order to use the Lever Pump.

Using the Lever Pump can make sample collection easier because it supports the discharge end of the pump's tubing, allowing the field technician to operate the inertial pump with one hand and hold a sample container with the other. The tubing clamp is hinged, which helps prevent pump tubing from abrading against well casing.

Additionally, the hand pump can reduce some of the fatigue that one may experience when required to purge large volumes from wells.

power & portability

The Waterra PowerPack PP1 provides the mechanical actuation for pumping with inertial pumps to depths of over 60m, in a fully portable, single operator power unit. At 13 kg, the PowerPack PP1 provides outstanding pumping performance.

The PP1 is powerful enough to lift water from over 60m depth using the Standard Flow System, and is so compact that it fits onto a back-pack frame. The PowerPack PP1 incorporates clamps for Waterra High Flow and Standard tubing sizes (adaptors are available for smaller tubes).

A Honda GX-22 series, 0.25 horsepower, 4 stroke, gasoline motor powers this device, which can run for approximately 1 hour without refuelling.

Manual & Automated
Pump Actuators

Power and Endurance

Over the years, Waterra has developed and improved a line of devices to assist in the operation of the Waterra Inertial Pump. Although the inertial pump is a simple device, the manual operation of the pump can sometimes be a strenuous experience. Purging and sampling deep wells or a large number of monitoring wells can leave the operator quite exhausted. Today, we sell a full line of portable actuators that will operate the inertial pump, even in the deepest of monitoring wells. These machines will deliver a significant boost to field productivity.
